Evaluation Fees
Institutional Evaluation Fees (universities)
Member universities
| 1. | Fees for the evaluation of a member university (excluding those member universities specified in Section 3 hereunder) (set forth in accordance with the provisions of Article 2) |
| (i) | Basic fees per university: 2,000,000 yen |
| (ii) | Basic fees per department: 500,000 yen |
| (iii) | Basic fees per graduate school: 250,000 yen |
| (iv) | Part of expenditure for on-site inspection (hotel accommodations, conference facility rental fees, lunch, etc.) |

Consumption tax will be added to Items (i), (ii) and (iii) above. |
Non-member universities
| 2. | Fees for the evaluation of a non-member university (set forth in accordance with the provisions of Article 3) |
| (i) | Total of evaluation fees for the member university plus membership fees for one cycle plus consumption taxes. |
| (ii) | One cycle is the period starting in 2005 and ending in 2010. |
Member universities with a period in which they were non-members in the past.
| 3. | For a member university that has been a non-member in the period 2005 - 2010, the fees will be the total evaluation fees as specified in Paragraph 1, plus the following membership fees equivalent charge plus consumption taxes. |
- Membership fees × number of years in which the university was a non-member ＝ membership fees equivalent
- Membership fees are for the year in which application for evaluation is filed.
